The largest and most significant part of the annual giving campaign is Phonathon. Every year the Boise State Foundation conducts a series of important telephone campaigns to raise funds for Boise State University. Phonathon callers contact alumni and friends to update them on university news and events while encouraging them to make an annual donation to Boise State.
Charitable contributions from alumni, friends, faculty and staff make many things possible. The percent of alumni giving back to the university is a crucial component of most grant applications. Also with an increased giving percentage, the university has the potential to move up higher in national rankings such as U.S. News & World Report.
