Society of 1932

Society of 1932was established to recognize individuals who make deferred gift commitments (estate plan gifts, life income arrangements, life insurance, etc.) to benefit Boise State University. The Society recognizes individuals who through their foresight and generosity help plan today for a strong University tomorrow.

History

In the fall of 1932, 70 men and women comprised the first class of Boise Junior College founded by the Episcopal Church. They, along with the faculty and founders of the institution, served as a firm foundation for what would one day become Boise State College, and today Boise State University.

Society of 1932 draws its name from that historical founding year of our University. Those who have expressed their support of Boise State through planned gift commitments are planting yet another foundation of long-term financial support for the University, ensuring a strong future. We extend our sincere appreciation to the members of this society.
